Ingredients
- Brown sugar
- White sugar
- Softened butter
- Eggs
- Vanilla
- Honey
- Peanut butter
- Baking soda
- Rolled oats & Quick Oats
- Flour
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- M&M’s

Recipe tips for baking cookies
- A great tip for these cookies: if you prefer M&M’s over chocolate chips, double the amount of M&M candies for an extra treat. Kids love it this way!
- Be sure to use a combination of rolled oats and quick oats. If you don’t have both on hand you can easily swap them out for each other.
- Creamy peanut butter is the go-to choice, but you can opt for chunky if you prefer a varied texture.

Is this a cookie recipe with no flour?
Yes. No flour. ❤
I see salt in the video, but not in the recipe… how much?
The video shows salt but not in the written recipie. How much please?
1/2 teaspoon – only do this if you use unsalted butter. San
Is there really no flour in the monster cookies?
Not in my recipe. ❤
Mine came out terrific.
Thanks so much for sharing!
But why did you change it?? I loved the no flour and with honey recipe. It was my go to cookie for freezer cookies and amazing for my family with celiac. Of course I never wrote it down and now I don’t know what the original was.
The recipe is now here https://praxis-platform.live/simplified-monster-cookies/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
It is a flourless recipe, the post is now more informative, sorry for the change on you.
Hi Sandra!
This sounds so delicious and i am wondering if you have ever baked this in brownie form or bars? If so what was the baking time?
Made these today…so good…I was worried about the no flour but they turned out great.
Do they bake flat?
My cookies turned out to be super flat and burned on the edges and too soft in the centres. Followed all directions and and they were only in the oven for 8 minutes. What did I do wrong?!
Not sure did you use real butter?
Always 🙂
They worked out and the boyfriend loved them! Just didn’t look like yours.
As a cookie fanatic, I have tried several monster cookies recipes (usually ones with flour). This is by far my favorite recipe! Soft and chewy 🙂 My hubby and I both brought some to work and they were gone immediately!
This is a great recipe! Thanks for sharing the wealth 😉
Ok, midway through this recipe and struggling…. the butter, is it melted? Softened? Cold? I put it in room temp and it’s clumpy. Do you blend after you add each ingredient or add them all and then mix? Thanks!
Softened.
Found your recipe on Pinterest. I think you are right, these really are the best monster cookies ever. And the dough…! Exactly as described! Thanks for sharing!
I would like to see the peanut butter cookie recipe that I punched up
is there salt in the recipe? it isn’t listed with the ingredients, but it is shown in the video?
1/2 teaspoon – if I don’t use salted butter 🙂
Do you like to use the quick cook oats?
Only truly GF if you use GF oats.
And they are delicious with no flour. They are so good, I will make these again!
This is a great recipe. I used chunky peanut butter. Baked well on a pizza stone.
Omg, until I read the comments I didn’t even notice these cookies have no flour in them!! We like the cookies except I think they are a little bland.
These are SO good! We used the biggest cookie scoop size (about 1/4 cup) and they took about 14 minutes to bake. And we didn’t have any M&Ms so we used a mix of milk and white chocolate chips. Thanks Sandra!
Who could resist that cookie!!? It hits all the must have flavors in a good cookie!
I use this same recipe except I use stick margarine and karo syrup instead of honey. Everyone always says they’re the best cookies they’ve ever had! And I love that my celiac coworkers can eat these!
Just read the recipe & will be making this. The only trouble I have had so far is that I can’t print it.
